Program Experience
Our curriculum provides a unique blend of training in applied psychology theory and practice. Graduates are prepared to integrate science and practice, to understand the application of psychological theory to their unique practices and fields, and effectively engage in culturally diverse environments.
All students complete their studies with a capstone or thesis that addresses a current or emerging social justice problem in the field.
Concentration Options
Health and Wellness
Explore how community health and well-being are influenced by social context. Develop skills for analyzing systems changes that can impact sustainable policies that improve psychological and physical health for all members of a community, including traditionally underserved populations.
Gender and Sexuality
Learn how gender and sexuality shape power dynamics in society and culture, and gain a deeper understanding of how gender and sexual minorities impact media, law, policy, and more.
Human Resources Management (HRM)
Explore theory and best-practice solutions for HRM across a broad range of industries. You will be equipped to take a leading role in developing and implementing processes, programs and policies that foster a more socially just workplace, including labor relations strategies, recruitment and selection practices, and diversity and inclusion strategies.
